Battle Worlds Builder Updates

Hey, everybody,
There is an update of battleworlds bulder:

  • Dialog Transitions can't be set passive anymore
  • Target of a transition can now be selected in a combobox
  • Warning if there are multiple mapobjects of the same kind on a hex
  • A Bugfix in activate dialog transition action
  • A Bugfix in variables window (you could crash the editor misusing it (-; )
  • the config file is gone. The streamingassets folder is now located automatically. This could help with some of the startup crashes
  • Crashreposting and -recovery is implemented.

Hi, everybody,

this one is primarily about some crashes which occured:

  • Recursive assembly resolving - Should fix FileNotFoundExceptions.
  • Now runs on Systems of other languages where decimalnumbers are formatted differently.

Second update for today.
This time some more warnings and errors:

  • Warning if team of spawn unit action is not active
  • Warning if Variable name of set variable action dosn't exist or is empty
  • Warning if team of place beacon action is invalid / not active / not human
  • Same for Orbital Drop action
  • Same for End Mission action
  • Same for turn started event (there negative teamnumbers are ok, meaning all tems)
  • Warning if Team of Change team action is not active / not valid
  • Warning if variable of Add Variable action doesn't exist or is empty
  • Same for Compare Variable Condition
  • Same for Variable Changed event
  • Warning if no hexes are defined in unit left event
  • Warning if Squad patrol event has less than two patrol points
  • No warning anymore if a trigger with a squad patrol event doesn't have actions
  • Warning if no action invokes a named event or its name is empty
  • Warning if team of field discovered event is not active

Hello!

I hust uploaded an update wich fixes one rare bug:

  • Fixed placement of units whiches blocked hexes were off the map

Hi everybody!

I just uploaded a new build. Because I am right now reworking the trigger ui, there will only be bugfixes for a short while. This is what has changed:

  • Fixed crash which occured when a conquer unit action did'nt have an unit filter
  • The names of an unit's resources were editable.
  • The start dialog action did'nt trigger undo / redo

Another bwb update:

  • implemented reset dialog action
  • units view is now seperated by team
  • units view displays might of each team

Hello, modders,

I uploaded an update:

  • Experience of units can now be set (It's not and probably will never be possible to upgrade units in the editor, sorry)
  • Error is displayed when an unit is not on the map
  • Error is displayed when an unit is placed on invalid ground
  • Implemented active flag for activate dialog transitions (so one can deactivate transitions)
  • Implemented a grounds  pipette tool (shortcut 5)
  • Warning if buildings (especially guard towers) are in a squad with other units (proplem is they won't move, even when the other units would like to)
  • Warning if blocked areas of mapobjects intersect
  • Mapobjects which are removed by remove map object action can now be selected (smart right?)
  • Unit inks are colored and sorted by faction
  • Implemented change resource income action
  • Fixed Spawn unit action so it can spawn buildings (elsewhere than at [0;0] ;))
  • On all comboboxes which represent an unit you can now drag-drop them from the units window

Time to go home.

Hello!

A new update is up:

  • Implemented set street action (can also remove streets)
  • Implemented Spawn map object action
  • Undo and redo now revalidate the map
  • Warnings about units that are but should not be replacable (buildings, loaded units, offmap units, units containing other units)
  • Mines are now checked for correct ground correctly

Hello!

I just uploaded a new version:

  • Implemented a "last created" unit filter (for example assign a squad to a newly spawned unit)
  • Implemented "all triggered" event: Triggers when all of a set of other events all triggered once or more
  • Implemented "one triggered" event: As above but triggers when any of a set of events trigger
  • Implemented "count" event: Triggers when an other event triggered n times. For usability reasons you can adjust n
  • Implemented "belongs to squad" unit filter: You don't have to use id lists for squads plus newly assigned units are matched as well
  • Bugfixes

All of this (except for the bugfixes) will work from the next bwk update when used in maps.
